Meditation cushion | Half moon

Like the more traditional round cushions (flatter or higher) this meditation cushion in the shape of a half-moon raises your hips and gives you stability, comfort and grounding. Now you can sit comfortably for long periods, whether cross-legged (Sukhasana), in Japanese sitting (Vajrasana or Seiza) or even in lotus posture (Padmasana, if your ankles and knees agree). During a meditation session, you need to be well seated to facilitate mental relaxation. If your practice takes place on an unsuitable cushion or directly on the floor, it may be less easy to relax. And make you want to return regularly!

These cushions are handcrafted in India, with the 2 covers sewn by hand in a small facility in India. They are then assembled and filled in Switzerland with the finest local organic spelt husk.

This cushion can also be used as a pillow when lying down, or under the hips or chest in certain postures, such as Yin or restorative yoga. 

Its firmness allows you to remain in a seated position with your legs crossed, while offering great comfort to your lower back. It gives you a moment of Zen meditation and full awareness of yourself and your body. It's comfortable and offers good support for the spine, facilitating the circulation of energy and breathing while you sit.

Measuring 45 cm wide, 35 cm deep and 15 cm high, it comes with a carry handle, making it easy to transport.

The outer cushion cover can be removed for easy washing, but we recommend hand washing and air drying. Do not tumble dry.
