Description
Traditionally, in the Buddhist and Hindu religions, the mala is used as a prayer accessory.
In yoga, the mala is often used in meditation. Placed in the hand, with the beads held between the fingers, it enables absolute concentration when reciting your various mantras. The positive energy emanating from the beads helps to create a state of intense relaxation, and each mala has additional virtues depending on its composition.
The number 108 has a special significance in the Buddhist tradition, so the traditional mala is always made up of a number of beads that is a multiple of 108. This is the number of trials Buddha had to undergo before attaining spiritual enlightenment.
In the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, Rudraksha beads are the oldest meditation beads and are considered sacred. Also known as 'Shiva's tears', these beads are actually the seeds of a tree.
Carnelian beads stimulate our creativity and help us to bring out our emotions thanks to their connection with the sacral chakra.
Red aventurine brings energy and joy. It helps to channel certain emotions, such as stress or anger. When the seasons change, for example, it helps us to keep our spirits up and our state of mind positive.
Green aventurine is the healing stone. It brings us peace and optimism, restoring our vital force and making us ready for new ideas and challenges.
A true ally in spiritual awakening, serpentine opens up the chakras very effectively. It provides composure and courage and helps to correct all types of emotional imbalance.
Agate brings relaxation and recuperation for the soul. It ensures that we experience a conscious connection with nature and the Earth.
L’Améthyste nous conduit à une paix intérieure profonde. Elle nous aide à nous détacher des vieux schémas et des habitudes qui ne nous servent plus et nous permet de déployer notre spiritualité.
A mineral of light and self-knowledge, quartz crystal gives energy and at the same time calms our pain. It awakens our brilliant faculties and promotes clarity.
Each necklace is handmade using authentic, natural pearls. So each mala is unique - no two are the same.
When you receive your mala, you have two choices: wear it straight away, or pass on your intentions. The beads will then carry your energy, linking you with your necklace. We recommend the following ceremony:
- Monday is the sacred day dedicated to Shiva. So start wearing your mala on the first day of the week.
- Find a quiet place to relax.
- Place a few flowers in a container of water and dip your mala in it.
- Light a stick of incense to help your mind and body relax.
- Once you have reached a level of serenity, cleanse each of the pearls in your mala. Take the time to tell them your intentions and imagine that they are protecting you and bringing you inner peace.
- Repeat the mantra "OM HREEM NAMAH SHIVAYA OM", which represents Shiva's tears.
- All you have to do is wear your mala and enjoy its benefits.
If you wear your mala regularly, the pearls will absorb a lot of energy. It is therefore sometimes necessary to discharge them in order to start afresh. To do this,
- Turn on your tap and place the collar under running water
- Touch each pearl with the intention of cleaning it
- The best way to dry the collar is to hang it outside.
- Once dry, a little natural oil on each pearl will add shine.

By creating a connection between the 7 chakras, this mala works on our entire energy system and enhances our inner peace. Each of the semi-precious stones in the mala contributes to balancing our chakras.
We take it with us to a meditation session or our yoga practice, and we also like to wear it simply as a piece of jewellery to embellish our outfits and absorb its energy and virtues on a daily basis.
Of all the colours, it's extremely cheerful. A real rainbow that brings us clarity of mind, inner peace, energy, courage and well-being.
