Teaching yoga for me is essentially about sharing. A mutual sharing: each student makes me grow by bringing me something unique and I take into account their particularities, their uniqueness, with kindness. Becoming a yoga teacher has been a revelation and the feedback I receive reinforces my decision to change my life. If you would like to know more about me and my yoga teaching journey, my personal practice, feel free to go and read the « About« page.
Here you will discover the testimonies of some of my students, confirmed yogi’s or beginners, who participated in one or more classes in the different studios where I had the chance to teach yoga. Yin yoga, Restorative yoga, yoga Nidra, Meditation practice, Myofascial massage, Pranayama (breathing techniques), Hatha yoga,…
One of Yoga’s characteristics is that it can be adapted to the physical condition and needs of its practitioners. Yin yoga (nidra, restorative, yin, iyengar) for example is more gentle, focusing on deep stretching of the body, breathing and letting go. Yang yoga (vinyasa, ashtanga yoga, hatha), on the other hand, is dynamic yoga. It is practised around sequences of asanas (yoga postures in Sanskrit) to work in particular on muscle strengthening. In addition, each class and each exercise can be adapted according to the yogis present and their desires, their capacities.
The benefits of yoga are numerous and everyone can feel them: relaxation of the body and the spirit, better knowledge of oneself, relaxation, control of one’s breathing, mental appeasement, flexibility, general well-being.
